The Jesus Hernandez Dialysis Center was established as a testimony to the life and experiences of a dialysis patient. It was born out of a shared will to honor Susing’s zeal and zest for life; and the love of those who cared for him. Located at No.10 Princeton Street, City Heights Subdivision, Concepcion Pequeña, the JHDC is close to all major hospitals in Naga City.
The center is equipped with the latest technology in dialysis machines and staffed with compassionate renal care professionals. It is capable of serving 18 cases daily and can be expanded as the need and demand arises. The center will also serve as a support community for renal patients and their families, friends, and caregivers.
Dialysis Center Facilities
In 2003, Jesus Hernandez was told by his doctors that his kidneys were no longer functioning at full capacity anymore. Being of an advanced age, and not to mention a survivor of a heart attack, a kidney transplant was not an option. Instead, he was advised to start the necessary preparations for an eventual dialysis treatment.
In 2008, due to continued high levels of creatinine, he started dialysis treatment. It was initially a bi-weekly treatment that was increased to thrice a week after a year. He diligently went to his dialysis treatments until his passing in 2016, a month short of his 8th anniversary of dialysis treatment.
The Center envisions itself as a leading hemodialysis center that is responsive to the needs of the community by providing efficient, compassionate, and sustainable renal care.
The Center will provide:
- professional and timely service by diligent and compassionate staff.
- up-to-date and well-maintained equipment in a sterile facility
- a clean, comfortable, and friendly environment.
The Center is committed to the continuous improvement of services.
The Center also plans to establish a foundation that will provide extension services to patients who may need support.
